"Windows Phone 7 Series will mainly revolve around activities that matter most to users: People, Pictures, Games, Music + Video, Marketplace and Office."
Will Windows Phone 7 Series find any traction in the mobile world? From the 20,000-foot view it certainly looks like it. Finally Microsoft seems to be listening to consumers and trying to heed to the new extremely demanding rules of the game by completely revamping its existing windows mobile platform. Although details are hard to find but it seems like that the new interface will create integrated experiences on a phone through Windows Phone hubs. No need to get confused by the word "hub" as it simply means that Win 7 will bring together related content from the Web, applications and services into a single view to simplify common tasks.

This all sound good but how soon can we get it? In typical Microsoft fashion they have set up a potential release date of 4th quarter of 2010. Which means that a normal consumer will not get a chance to experience this new platform until the year end or early next year when phone manufacturers prepare their devices and send them out in the market. I dont know about you but I don't think I will be able to hold on until then but it sure is something to look forward to for all the Microsoft die hard fans. If there are any left.. :-)
